Lance Storm comments on the Montreal PPV, the screwjob and William Regal's concussion.
Check out my sponsors at the top of the page! Pretty cool, huh?
Bill Goldberg spoke to America Online on 1/27/03. He mentions who he would like to wrestle in the WWE and who he respects the most. He also talks about his upcoming movie. Here is the transcript.

No Way Out

This pay per view didn't live up to my expectations.

Rock vs. Hogan II

As I said in a previous post, this match would not live up to the original and it didn't. Several ingredients present in the the first pairing were missing. The last time both men squared off, no one knew if Hogan could physically handle the rigors of a main even PPV. (He did). And of course the first pairing of both men in a big match also made it lively and exciting.

The ending was pitiful. The lights went off and when the arena was relighted, a chair was lying in the ring next to the fallen referee. As Vince walks into the arena, the ref slides the chair to Rock who clobbers him for the win. Vince screwed Hogan!

Get it? This was Montreal Screwjob II. Years ago Vince cost Bret Hart the title when he lost thanks to Vince's real interference with the match. This time, the screwjob was a work, a fake.

Unfortunately, the real recipients of the screwjob were the fans. We were cheated out of a cleaner, more exciting win. Even if Rock had pinned Hogan by using the ropes, it would have been more satisfying.

WWE needs to update Dawn Marie's profile on their web page. The last update was written before her marriage to Mr. Wilson. And I also notice Dawn Marie is not featured on the WWE Divas web site. It looks like her push is going no where.
I did not watch Smackdown Thursday night. Nope. The Michael Jackson special was too enticing. That's bad news for WWE. This happens to be "sweeps" month, which means the ratings in this month are used to determine ad rates for the following months. And WWE ratings have been down.

Maybe Dawn Marie should marry Michael Jackson next?

his weekend Stone Cold will rip apart his former boss, Eric Piss off, I mean Bischoff. I would like to see a sign that says Eric Piss off. Anyone?

The Honky Tonk Man's website bodyslams WWE announcing.
Are you missing Raven since he was released from WWE? Well, if you are, maybe you should see a doctor.

But I do realize he has some fans out there, so I thougt I would let you know he will be in Pennsylvania wrestling for the IWC. He headlines a show with the Sandman on February 22nd at Hindman Hall, 121 Hindman Lane, in Butler.

This wrestling promotion features several wrestlers with cool names. T. Rantula, Jimmy Vega$, Bubba the Bulldog, and AL B Damm.

STONE COLD RETURNS.
After Raw went off the air on Monday, Stone Cold Steve Austin made a surprise appearance in the arena. According to fans, he gave Morley two stunners and then taunted Jericho and delivered two more stunners. He also drank "beer?" with JR and entertained the fans for about 25 minutes. (Source: 1wrestling.com)

Why did Stone Cold not appear on Raw? Perhaps he was supposed to appear, but Vince decided to hold the offical debut at a PPV to increase the buy rate, but I have another theory. SCSA is probably traveling with the Raw crew and working out with various wrestlers in order to get rid of any ring rust before NO WAY OUT. He doesn't want to look like Steiner did at the Royal Rumble, slow and creaky.

Curt Hennig passed away February 9th.
Guess what? Jerry Lawler updated his website.

Guess what else? It's boring. Don't even go there. The website has gone downhill since he divorced Kat.
Former Kansas City Chief Kimble Anders made his pro wrestling debut recently. Unfortunately, he was arrested shortly after the match was over.
Remember Jim Neidhart? He's wrestling for British Championship wrestling.

Unfortunately, very few WWE wrestlers can work a match with Rey Mesterio. Angle, Benoit and Chavo Guerrero are the only performers that have been able to match RM's agility and ring savy.
The Hogan/Rock rematch is a mistake. WWE will never recapture the magic of Hogan/Rock I. This match will not live up to the previous match and will ruin the magic of what should have been a once in a lifetime match.
Ok, the Royal Rumble was good. The main event was entertaining, even if the undercard was boring. Even Angle vs. Benoit failed to light up the screen, but the big match lived up to the hype.

A few observations.........

Shawn Michaels quick exit signals he will not be headlining any matches soon.

IIt looks like they will push Jericho a bit. He had a very respectable showing.

And of course, Bautista is getting a push. He was a featured performer in the Rumble, setting him up more more big matches in the future.
